Lynton on Countryfile
Lynton, or more specifically the Valley of Rocks, features on today's episode of the BBC's Countryfile programme.
The goats were filmed during the round up for their annual inspection on the 20th March, when they were filmed by Countryfile's camera crew.
Cinema At End Of The Reel
Many visitors to Lynton & Lynmouth comment on the delight of our charming little cinema. The cinema now however faces possible closure due to an amount of approximately £15,000 being needed to convert from film to digital projection.
Walkers are Welcome

Dark sky at night, astronomers' delight.
Exmoor National Park's night sky, of which Lynton & Lynmouth are central to, has been awarded special protected status. It is the first place in Europe and only the second in the world.

Opening the 100 Year Garden
Last week a celebration took place marking the opening of the hundred year garden at Lynton Art & Craft Centre. Originally a Methodist Chapel built in 1909, the design of this new garden stated in 2009 and came to fruition in 2011.
